Phi’s background integrates business, sustainability, real estate development and green building. Since entering the field in 2002 she has worked with leaders in these fields and brings this experience to all of her projects.
As a graduate student Phi pioneered the joint MBA/Environmental Studies Masters degree focusing on sustainability: one of the MBA schools’ primary focuses today. While in graduate school Phi worked with the Leadership Forum at The Keystone Center, an experiential and facilitated learning program to help corporate executives develop the skills, tools and understanding necessary to accelerate the acceptance and adoption of sustainable strategies within their companies. |
Participants included: Dupont, Vail Resorts, Cinergy, and other early adaptors of sustainable business practices. After receiving her masters degrees Phi served as the Marketing and Green Building Coordinator for Perry Rose, LLC, the Denver partner of the Jonathan Rose Companies and leader in environmentally and socially conscious real estate development. With a growing interest specifically in green building Phi moved to, YRG Sustainability Consultants, where she worked with clients to facilitate the LEED® certification process and develop tools and strategies to increase their in-house sustainability capabilities. Starting in the Fall of 2008 Phi began freelancing and has been working with a variety of clients combining her background to forward green building and sustainability, officially launching SustainIt, LLC in the Summer of 2009.
Before beginning her career in sustainability, Phi served in various management roles in the internet and technology industries, including serving as the Vice President of Operations and Marketing for a telecommunication consulting company.
Combining her experience in business management, real estate and green building allows Phi to effectively work with clients to identify sustainability goals and strategies in line with their personal and business objectives.
Phi lives in Boulder, Colorado, is a LEED Accredited Professional, is on the board of the Boulder Green Building Guild and holds an MBA and Masters of Environmental Studies from CU Boulder. |
